Traditional Art

I took up drawing as a serious hobby around 2006. For years I was a graphite portrait artist only, drawing people, rarely animals and still life. In recent years I’ve gained a bit of experience in some other traditional mediums too, like colored pencil (monochrome), ink (black) and scratchboard. Nowadays I focus more on wildlife art, less on portraits.

Since I’ve completed very few drawings the past few years, I decided to include a larger selection of old(er) work to showcase a larger variety of subjects.

Currently I’m in the process of dusting off my graphite work skills to resume improvement (years out of practice), working on developing new, better techniques and style, while at the same time testing different new papers, learning new (color) mediums, and searching for my favorite combination of art supplies for work in each medium.
